I'm Shane, pretending to be the President of NAGA,

I'm an old hand at RPGs having placed since 1979 (yes, i'm THAT old) and during this time have placed and run most systems that were mainstream all the way up until 2005 when I had a short life break to focus on other areas of my life. Since moving to Brisbane in 2012 I have got back into the hobby I'm passionate about and love.

I founded and served as president for a very successful club back in Melbourne for well over a decade called DWARF (Dandenong Wargamers and Roleplayers Federation - gotta love those acronyms) and also organise / ran / wrote for a successful convention called DWARFCon (who'd thought) which in its final years catered to over 340 visitors during its 3 days.

I'm extremely passionate about organising, running, playing and connecting games within the community and providing all games with a safe, inclusive, welcoming and vibrant persona for players to interact with. Roleplaying has always been about community and I accept people for who they are - not what they are labelled as!

My goals for NAGA are huge! Uniting the Northside of Brisbane into a unified gaming force with a dedicated venue for fun activities is only one element of many I have on my agenda.

Despite my years of gaming, I'm just another human like you and share the same anxieties, worries and problems but I'm always happy to help you in any way that I can - whether it be a chat about your character, a chat about your campaign or just a joke.

Oh, and like Kat I LOOOOOVE making up characters... ask my Call of Cthulhu Orient Express players --- i had over 200 NPCs ready to go as potential Player Characters.
