Northside Adventure Gamers Assocation Inc. operates within the legislative framework for incorporated organisations. In terms of personal information that we collect from members, we are required to adhere to the Privacy Act 1988. What Information Do We Collect?

Upon application for membership, NAGA collects the following:

  • Legal First & Last Name
  • A Valid Email Address
  • A Valid Phone Number
  • A Current Residential Address, including Street Address, Suburb, State & Postcode
  • Date of Birth

Why do we collect your personal information?

Information collected from NAGA members is used for the following purposes:

  • To meet legislative operating requirements.
  • To provide the best possible service to our members
  • To allow us to communicate effectively with our members

To date, personal information collected from our members has informed selection of venue, in order to make the location as central as possible for member convenience. Similarly, our approaches to local businesses for partnership have been informed, in part by the information our members have provided. As we continue to grow, we will continue to make decisions informed by this process.

How do we approach Information Privacy?

NAGA's approach to Information Privacy is informed by the Australian Privacy Principles. Collection, Dissemination, Retention & Disposal of your personally identifiable information is handled with the highest possible adherence to these principles. We do not provide personally identifiable information without the consent of our members. Any risks to member privacy with regard to information we collect will be communicated as quickly and efficaciously as possible, to ensure members are informed and are able to act in order to protect their privacy.
